Chicago Overnight: Shootings wound 15 across the city - Close to 30 shot since Friday
At least 15 people were shot in attacks across the city Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning, according to police.
Among the wounded are four men in their 20s and 30s in a single attack in Englewood about 6:35 p.m. They were sitting in a car in a gas station at 66th and Halsted Streets when someone shot them, police said.
A 23-year-old man was also shot in the Englewood neighborhood about 2:45 p.m., police said. He was walking down the 6400 block of South Peoria Street when he heard gunfire and realized he was shot, police said. He's in stable condition at St. Bernard Hospital and Healthcare Center.

About the same time as the Englewood gas station shooting, a 24-year-old was shot in the back and leg near Kostner Avenue and Madison Street in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. The man, from west suburban Bellwood, was shot in the back and leg while standing in the doorway of a barber shop just south of Madison Street, police said. He said "(expletive) you, copper" to an officer and was described by police as an "uncooperative victim." He was shot with a .357 "K-frame" revolver, according to what a witness told police.
