Two men have been arrested after Naperville police said they sold Ecstasy to undercover officers during a two-month investigation, authorities said this week.
Timothy E. Grandberry, 18, of the 100 block of Fairfield, Romeoville, was carrying more than 300 Ecstasy pills when he was arrested June 10 near Naper Boulevard and 75th Street, according to Sgt. Gregg Bell.
He was charged with manufacturing/delivering a controlled substance, a Class X felony, as well as misdemeanor resisting/obstructing a police officer, according to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Ahmad S. Willingham, 19, of the 200 block of Stamford Lane, Romeoville, was not carrying Ecstasy at the time of the bust, but had been with Grandberry during previous deals, according to Bell. He also was charged with manufacturing/delivering a controlled substance in addition to misdemeanor possession of cannabis.
A third man who was with the pair June 10, Devante R. Murphy, 19, of the 8900 block of South Union Avenue, Chicago, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of cannabis.
