Chicago Police fire shots during West Side pursuit of colored boys

Chicago Police fired at an SUV during a pursuit on the West Side early Thursday morning but no one was hit.

Details were sketchy, but police said officers tried to stop the SUV after seeing a man with a gun.

The pursuit ended near Lake Street and Cicero Avenue, and all five people in the SUV were taken into custody, police said. A weapon was recovered, they said.
