Off-duty Chicago cop catches driver in hit-and-run that seriously injured 2
An off-duty Chicago police officer caught a driver who ran from a hit-and-run multi-vehicle crash that seriously injured two people tonight, authorities said.
Emergency crews were called to North Avenue and Pulaski Road about 8 p.m. for a hit-and-run crash involving at least two vehicles, one of which apparently had rolled over, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety, citing preliminary information.
One person was being questioned in connection with the hit-and-run, police said.
