Chicago Police Sergeants & Officers will get cash option for overtime worked during N.A.T.O.

PBPA Sergeants who worked overtime during the NATO Summit and were denied the compensatory time option will be allowed to convert payments to compensatory time. Members must specifically indentify the dates they want overtime converted back to compensatory time. The dollar value of the compensatory time eligible to be converted on the 16 June 2012 payroll will be deducted from the 16 August 2012 payroll. The compensatory time will then be credited to the memeber's balance. PBPA Sergeants who wish to take the compensatory time option are required to notify their union by email at Grievances@chicagosergeants.org. Emails must contain the member's name, star number and unit of assignment. All requests must be submitted prior to the close of business 29 June 2012. NOTE: FLSA time (hours worked in a period in excess of 171 hours) is not eligible for compensatory time option.

Take the Money Now!

At the rate that Rahm is going, ca$h will be in demand down the road when you and your family really need it!
