Chicago Police: Cops: $3,000.00 reward offered after vandalism to Chicago police memorial wall
Police today offered a $3,000 reward for information leading to conviction of the person responsible for vandalizing the Chicago Police Memorial in the city’s South Loop neighborhood.
Graffiti was discovered about 6 p.m. Thursday on the memorial located near the intersection of 18th Street and McFetridge Drive, police said.
The memorial honors officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
The Chicago Police Chaplain’s Ministry and the Chicago Police Department Board have posted a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the vandalism, officials said.
