Man previously accused of murder charged in fatal Bridgeport stabbingA Bridgeport neighborhood man previously tried for murder was accused of fatally stabbing a man during a dispute over a woman, Chicago police said.
Joseph "Joey" Lacyniak, 34, faces a first-degree murder charge in the Monday morning stabbing death of John Hughes Jr., police said.
Police said Lacyniak stabbed Hughes multiple times inside his home in the 200 block of West 31st Street at about 1:45 a.m., police said. The stabbing occurred during a quarrel over a woman, police said without elaborating.
