A 20-year-old man who was hospitalized after being found apparently having a seizure in the Beverly neighborhood died Saturday and was later found to have a bullet in his head, police said.
Investigators have launched a death investigation after Brian Jones of the 3800 block of West Cermak Road was pronounced dead at 5:35 p.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak.
On Friday, Chicago Fire Department paramedics were called to an alley on the 9000 Block of South Western Avenue for a "person down" at the location, said Kubiak.
Initially, crews believed that Jones had suffered a seizure and took him to the hospital for treatment, said Kubiak.

A 19 year old black male who was found shot in the head in the alley at 9025 South Western Ave on Friday had died of his wounds today.
Police are unsure if the shooting actually happened at this location or the wounded person was dumped there by a passing car in the alley.
