Two held, one sought after shots fired at Chicago police


A man fleeing from Chicago Police fired shots at officers this morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

No one was injured and police did not return fire when it happened about 10:55 a.m. in the 700 block of North Christiana Avenue, according to Harrison District Police Lt. John Andrews.

When officers tried to stop three people suspected of having illegal drugs, one of the them ran away, said Andrews. While officers pursued him, he pulled a gun and began firing.

I'd bet the ranch SCC is a broad. WAYY too temperamental for my liking. If SCC isn't a broad, then for certain, a north side cop with a lot of time on his hands. I like the blog over there, but a bit stuffy at times.
