Motorcycle collides with Metra train in Orland Park - Needless to say, the motorcyclist is dead


A motorcycle collided with a Metra train in Orland Park just before 1 a.m. Friday, according to an agency spokesman.

The motorcycle's driver died, spokesman Tom Miller said. The driver’s age and gender wasn’t immediately available, he said.

Outbound train 841 from Chicago’s Union Station was heading toward the 179th Street stop when the bike and train collided near Wolf Road and 175th Street, Miller said
