Breaking News: 1 dead, 3 wounded after gunman opens fire at Texas courthouse - Suspect just captured

URGENT: At least one person is dead and three others wounded after a gunman opened fire Wednesday at a Texas courthouse, Fox affiliate KRIV-TV reported.

The shooting happened at the Jefferson County Courthouse in Beaumont, Texas, about 80 miles east of Houston. Authorities told the Associated Press that the alleged shooter has been injured and captured.

Officer Doug Kibodeaux did not immediately have further details on the wounded suspect.

KFDM-TV reported that the deceased victim is an elderly woman. The condition of the three other victims is unknown.

One victim was reportedly discovered in the basement of the courthouse, while the three others were found in the parking lot.

The courthouse, located near the Port of Beaumont, was on lockdown.

It is just a matter of time before it happens in Crook County. Yea, keep telling officers in Markham Court to lock up their weapons when you have a bunch of political hacks working as security. Most are old and out of shape and couldn't stop their shit from escaping if something went down. If I were a judge or employee I would be concerned.
